About the Epsom Community
A suburb with family living as its focus, Epsom is home to sought after schools, both public and private, and most of the suburb is zoned for popular Auckland Grammar and Epsom Girls Grammar. Diocesan and St Cuthbert's College are popular private schools for girls situated in Epsom's heart.
The area is home to Cornwall Park and its famous One Tree Hill. There are at least 6 smaller parks and reserves dotted throughout the suburb also.
There is a wide range of housing options in Epsom, from the more affordable homes on smaller sections, to townhouse living, and at the other end of the scale, grand two storey homes built in the early part of the 20th century on substantial grounds.
There are clubs for tennis, croquet, bowls and squash and we are close to the bustle of Mt Eden Village. Nearby Alexandra Park provides entertainment with harness racing, and in the neighbouring show grounds various events and mega sales take place during the year, such as The Easter Show and Homeshow. If you enjoy movies, you'll love the local award winning picture theatre 'The Lido'.

There are over 450 restaurants and cafes within a 2 km radius of Epsom and a huge variety of ethic eateries and more formal establishments.
Shopping
There is popular Greenwoods Corner, a hub of retail activity, restaurants and cafes. It is a popular spot and you can almost guarantee you will run into someone you know if you live in the area. The area also has a huge variety of antique shops including the iconic 'Yvonne Sanders Antiques'. There is also a new Farmers market held in the area each Sunday.
Transport
With easy access to motorways, both north and south and plenty of bus routes close by, getting to and from just about anywhere is a breeze.
