About the Papakura Community
Papakura - Best of Town and Country
Close to motorways and main arterial routes, Papakura offers quick access to the airport as well as the CBD.
Papakura's popularity is such that considerable investment is being made in residential subdivisions that supplement the existing established homes that comprise the growing residential areas whilst also supporting the huge growth in the surrounding lifestyle/rural areas.
Papakura enjoys easy access to the Hunua Ranges for bush walking, cycling and horse riding, and the East and West coast beaches which are a real draw card on sunny days.
There are a number of parks and reserves right on the doorstep. For those that enjoy sports there are several sports clubs catering for soccer, netball, rugby, hockey and martial arts, and a golf course for those looking for something more sedate. There is a well-stocked local library, and for a spot of culture you can visit the Papakura museum and art gallery.
