Set amongst picturesque countryside on Auckland’s Pohutukawa Coast are the popular seaside suburbs of Beachlands and Maraetai. There are good swimming beaches, sports fields and facilities at Te Puru Park and nearby Whitford Forest has extensive tracks for mountain biking, walking and horse riding. The Pine Harbour Marina offers full boating facilities and a frequent daily ferry service to the CBD.
