Anita was born and raised on Auckland’s North Shore and has lived in Coatesville for the past 21 years. With her husband Peter, they have been down the track of subdividing their 18 acre property, selling 6 acres and the home and have now completed the building of their new home on the remaining 12 acres.

Anita is passionate about Coatesville and all things “horsey”, which was the original reason for her moving into the area. She has ridden since the age of 10 and is still an active rider. Anita enjoys all things equestrian, with a particular interest in Dressage.

Anita’s background career was with the travel industry for over 40 years, beginning when she left secondary school. She has travelled extensively and lived in the United Kingdom on 3 occasions, most recently from 2006 to 2008, when Anita and Peter were employed in a stately 16th century Elizabethan Manor House, which was open to the public during the summer.

Upon returning to New Zealand Anita decided to change career direction and took up the challenge of becoming a salesperson with Barfoot & Thompson working from the Coatesville Office. Anita has always been interested in property and enjoys much success for her clients.

Anita is first and foremost a “people person” and has the innate ability to communicate effectively and build an instant rapport with everyone she comes into contact with.
