Bert Hartnett started his career in real estate in 1986 working for Beltons Real Estate – Papatoetoe branch. Success came quickly for Bert – winning the “Rookie of the Year” award in his first year. Since then, Bert has consistently achieved high results – with awards ranging from “Top Exclusive Lister”, “Top Auction Lister”, “Highest Number of Sales”, “National Salesperson of the Year” and “National Exclusive Lister of the year” – out of approximately 700 other salespeople. Bert has twice been recognized by the Real Estate Institute of NZ as a superstar salesperson and performer, having been invited to share his secrets of success with other salespeople around the country. Over Bert’s career in real estate, he has also been a licensed auctioneer, calling hundreds of Auctions during that time. Bert has also been involved in Commercial Sales and Leasing, working in the thick of the Commercial/Industrial hub in the Penrose and Mt Wellington Central Suburbs as well as a 2 year stint selling Investment properties in Brisbane, Australia.

In the past, Bert has also been a real estate business owner – having been a partner in the Ray White Papatoetoe branch, and selling properties in Papatoetoe for 14 years.

Bert now works in partnership with Angelique Peters and together they founded Wildfire Realty – a boutique real estate office in Takanini which covered the South Auckland area. Together they ran a successful operation for 3 years before deciding to get back to what we are best at doing – listing and selling real estate.
