David Armstrong joined the real estate industry in 1997 after a career as an economics teacher, and quickly established himself as a top performer. In his first year, David was named as the REINZ runner-up ‘Rookie of the Year’ for the Auckland region and ranked 21st at Barfoot & Thompson. Such great success requires skill and dedication, two attributes that David clearly possesses.

It was only natural that in 2004 David took the next step in his career and became the branch manager for the Glen Eden office. Under David’s leadership, Glen Eden has established itself as a high performing branch, with a team of talented and motivated people.

David has structured his team to deliver excellent customer service and fulfil all of the local community’s real estate needs. The team includes 19 residential salespeople with top marketing skills and negotiating expertise, a respected property management division and fantastic front line staff.

Since mid 2008 Barfoot & Thompson have increased their market share in Glen Eden significantly. David believes the team’s focus on achieving the best results for their clients is one of the key reasons for this change.
