With over 30 years of continuous real estate sales experience, I’ve dealt with all types of clients and all types of properties. I have worked extensively with developers, family trusts, mortgagee sales, Auctions, Tenders, Promotions and Marketing.

I’ve also dealt with just about any circumstance you can imagine and seen massive changes in the industry. It’s a much more sophisticated business than it was 30 years ago, requiring a commitment to professionalism and customer service, extensive industry knowledge and outstanding marketing and negotiation skills.

I started my career in Kerikeri working for the family firm, Broadbent Real Estate, before moving on to Auckland. Now having worked for Barfoot & Thompson for over 20 years, 16 years in Mission Bay dealing with the top end of the residential market, including redeveloped existing prime sites and extensive marketing for family trusts and overseas clients.

Coming back home to Kerikeri has been a very rewarding experience for me. It is a unique world of its own with a fantastic sense of community. With the rest of the world just starting to appreciate our unique local flavour, and the continuing development of the area, I feel there is huge potential for growth, offering all kinds of opportunities for sellers and buyers alike. I have personally been involved in the marketing of Kilountain and Waitotara subdivisions and have an excellent understanding of how well targeted marketing can cost-effectively attract the right buyers.

I joined our Kerkeri branch when it opened, and since then we have become an established part of the local real estate scene, with a rising market share. I credit our introduction of quality marketing standards and strong client focus for this achievement. As part of a non franchised network, we can offer access to buyers through more than 950 colleagues in 63 branches working throughout Auckland (a growing part of your target market) and Northland.

With my wide ranging experience, many of my sales are referrals from people I have dealt with over the last 30 years.
