He previously worked in scientific research for 21 years at Massey University, DSIR and Hort Research. John & his wife Sue have lived in the central Auckland area for 23 years. John has excellent knowledge of the lifestyle choices available in the central Auckland area. As a parent of two young adults, he has first hand awareness of local schooling and sporting options. John has enjoyed the opportunity to coach and manage sports teams that his children have been involved in over the years. The family enjoys all sports, though John is mostly a spectator and armchair critic these days.
