With over 27 years in the real estate industry, the last seven with Barfoot & Thompson, I have gained a lot of knowledge and seen a number of changes in this competitive industry.

The most pleasing aspect of listing and selling real estate for me is the pure enjoyment I still get from meeting and working together with people - whether they are a buyer or a seller.
The satisfaction of helping a home owner sell and a customer buy property is still very much my main motivation for being in this business. By alleviating the stress of my clients and customers, keeping things simple and making people feel comfortable from the outset; I develop clients and friendships for life.

I can attribute my longevity in real estate to the pleasure of meeting and working with people from all walks of life and the fact that I am down to earth and listen to what my clients want. I am committed, loyal, and prepared to go the extra distance when it is exceptional service you want and deserve.

In my spare time, I enjoy time out with my family and I am a keen sportsman, with an interest in all types of sporting activities. In the past, I have played senior club rugby for the Mt Roskill, North Shore and Ponsonby Rugby Clubs, in addition to representing the Auckland Rugby A team in the 1970s. These days, my activities revolve around social touch rugby and golf.

Joining Barfoot & Thompson has always been an ambition of mine and my only regret is not joining this strong, well-known and proven company earlier in my real estate career.
