Jean has been with Barfoot & Thompson for 30 years, 10 years as a successful salesperson and 20 years as a branch manager. Nine years ago she was thrilled to take up the position as Branch Manager in Mt Albert and is thoroughly enjoying sharing her real estate experience and working with an enthusiastic team of salespeople.

The Mt Albert Branch sales team and property management division are experienced and have a vast knowledge of the local area as many have lived in the area for several years. The team is diverse, with a range of backgrounds and ethnicities. As a branch we play a very active role in the community including sponsorship of local schools, kindergartens and sports clubs.

Jean is passionate about the real estate industry as a whole. In 2003 she was appointed Auckland District President of the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand, the first women to achieve this honor. In 2007 she was appointed as a Regional Councillor for Auckland/Northland as well as being honoured with Fellowship status of the Real Estate Institute. Jean has also been heavily involved in many of the changes the real estate industry has faced with the introduction of the REAA and has recently been appointed as a Regional Director on the REINZ board.
