Prior to embarking on a real estate career Livia completed a bachelor of architecture degree and worked for a property developer for two and a half years in China. Her background enabled her to develop many disciplines including negotiation skills. She soon decided that she wanted a change and moved to New Zealand.

Livia wanted to tackle challenges and meet different people everyday which is why she was attracted to real estate. She decided to join Barfoot & Thompson City as Barfoot & Thompson was a family company, they support their salespeople with training and they had a great network of salespeople.
