Having lived in the Torbay/Waiake area for most of her life Penny feels that she knows the whole area like the back of her hand. In fact even after many overseas trips and living in other countries there is no place she would rather live in this world than our beautiful East Coast Bays. She absolutely loves it!
Penny has been married to Canadian husband Tim for over 30 years and they have two wonderful sons. When Tim and Penny first arrived back in New Zealand after living in Toronto, Tim was absolutely hooked on the place and especially the East Coast Bays. He is a true Kiwi now except for his accent!

Penny has been in the real estate industry since 2001and is very aware of how important it is to communicate effectively, professionally and with warmth. Maintaining a very positive `can do’ attitude is a top priority for her and she likes nothing more than helping people in whatever area they need assistance. Both buyers and sellers alike have appreciated Penny’s friendly and professional service.
A background in marketing has helped hugely here. Ten years at a leading market research company, plus four years at Rangitoto College as Community Education Co-ordinator/Director have given Penny strong organisational and time management skills, plus the ability to write creatively. She loves putting together great real estate advertisements that promote your property to its absolute best advantage thereby attracting buyers most suited to the qualities your home has to offer. Moving to Barfoot and Thompson from another company was a big decision but one Penny has certainly not regretted. With the support of over 900 other salespeople in the Auckland/Northland area, the benefits to the client are HUGE and the number of Barfoot and Thompson SOLD signs around are a testament to this.
