Originally from Yorkshire, England, Russell Birkinshaw is a gentleman of Auckland real estate, with a big reputation for professionalism. His initial contact with this country was as a radio officer with the New Zealand Shipping Company. The introduction of big jet aircraft saw the demise of passenger ships between the two countries and he returned to England to become the sales director for large manufacturing group. Eight years later, he was again swayed towards a managerial role at the Epsom branch but returned after a couple of years to where his passion lies in sales and marketing.
