Prior to real estate, Sam worked in customer service and was a weight loss counsellor. Skills she gained from these roles that are useful to her career as a salesperson include empathy, listening, tact and diplomacy. She is also very service orientated and believes in ongoing communication throughout the sales process and following up post sale. Sam joins Barfoot & Thompson bringing with her previous real estate experience and a passion for property and the drive to succeed.
Having done numerous Computer and Marketing courses, Sam is able to fully maximise the technology and systems provided by Barfoot & Thompson to create effective advertising and marketing campaigns. Sam is highly effective in all areas of real estate, is a strong negotiator and has experience in renovating, which means she can also help you maximise the appeal of your home.
Sam’s biggest life achievement was dealing with severe hearing loss and overcoming it by learning sign language to better her and help serve the deaf community. She enjoys getting involved with her local community and especially her children’s school. She has volunteered at Maths and Reading programs, collected for guide dogs and the MS appeal.
