Known as Honey Orchard, this mature orchard is a must view and features 3.75 canopy hectares of G3 Sun Gold kiwifruit.
This gentle rolling property has a Northeast aspect, the structures are in good order and has excellent permanent perimeter shelter with new artificial shelter in place internally.
Most of the orchard was grafted over in 2018 and 0.53 hectares was grafted over in 2012. This orchard has undergone a refurbishment in recent years with drainage put in place in a couple of damper areas, which have now been replanted on bounty rootstock in 2021.
This orchard is now set up to produce well and achieved 59,056 trays this season.
The orchard also has an implement shed that has been partitioned off with a separate staff meeting and tea room, toilet and ample lockup storage area.
