Janene Hopkins & Angela Howie – we are a Team! Between us, we have been marketing and selling property for nearly 47 years, and our success in the business can be attributed to:
Our Communication Skills Clear and transparent communication is the key to building solid relationships. We listen to our clients - then tailor our advice to suit their goals and what they want to achieve. The process can be stressful and sometimes exasperating. We make sure every client knows what’s happening every step of the way so they can be confident in making the right decisions.
Marketing Techniques We understand what separates a good marketing campaign from an outstanding one. We work alongside our clients to ensure they have the right strategy, taking into account any unique features of the property, the current market and any budget constraints. Our skill is in presenting a home in the best possible light and promoting it in all the right places to attract the right demographic.
Negotiating Skills The business end of a sale is where our negotiating skills come into play. A win-win for all is the only outcome and our outstanding track record is evidence of our prowess in this area.
Janene I have a long-standing relationship with the Hibiscus Coast. Holidays with my grandparents at Stanmore Bay were always a highlight for me. Not only did I enjoy the beautiful Bay but I learned some valuable sewing techniques from my Gran!
Working on this beautiful coast doesn’t feel like a job. If I’m meeting clients to show them a property or checking out a vendor’s home to prepare it for market, wherever I look, the view is stunning - a coastline of gorgeous beaches and sea views! Heading home feels like I’m going on holiday!
Speaking of holidays, time-out for me is sneaking away with my husband in our renovated retro caravan.
Angela I’ve been working from Barfoot & Thompson Whangaparaoa for 11 years now, and like Janene, I love the area. It’s like constantly being on holiday. Originally from the Dominican Republic in the Caribbean, I came to New Zealand in 1987. Why New Zealand? My future husband, a Kiwi, was cruising the Caribbean on his sailboat and the rest is history. Hibiscus Coast is my home. We live on a boat and when we want a holiday, we go on a cruise, in our boat!
Over the years, we’ve been through many property cycles. Our focus is on achieving the best possible sale price, in the shortest possible time-frame with the least amount of stress.
Call or email us at Barfoot & Thompson Whangaparaoa. We’ll ensure that our collective skills will weave some magic for you and your property dreams!
