I love interacting with a wide variety of people, and working in real estate gives me that opportunity to do just that, every day. I’m based at the Barfoot & Thompson Greenlane branch and it’s surrounded by the charming suburbs of Royal Oak, Ellerslie and Greenlane. It’s an area that really has everything. Beautiful parks, plenty of shops to choose from, great places to eat and golf courses. A place that’s especially close to my heart is the Ellerslie racetrack. (More about that later).
I have a degree in Economic Geography and have studied at both the University of Louisville and the University of Kentucky in the States. While in the United States, I was a government contractor and here in Auckland I’ve worked in construction management.
My ability to connect with just about anyone pairs nicely with my love of real estate. I’m well-travelled and I have a multitude of hobbies and interests. I just love getting to know people. When I first meet with my clients, I’m a very keen listener and want to find out what sort of lifestyle they are seeking. I can then find the perfect property so than can live the life they’ve dreamed of. Finding everything on a client’s checklist gives me a great sense of satisfaction.
When it comes to what I like to do in my spare time, there is so much to enjoy. I love to scuba dive, fish, hunt, go tramping and camping and fly small aircraft, to name just a few. I also enjoy salsa dancing, cooking new and interesting dishes and going to rugby matches. I have a love for the horse industry and I spend a lot of time at the racetrack.
The expertise and support that Barfoot & Thompson provides for their salespeople is amazing. I love the fact that they are a family-owned company. Also, the fact that they are a non-franchised agency gives me the opportunity to work with a wide range of buyer and sellers anywhere in the Auckland and Northland regions and creates a scale of competition thus increasing the reach of a property campaign.
Let me put my energy and love of real estate to work for you. Call or email me or drop into the Greenlane office for a chat.
