Prior to moving to residential sales, I completed a Bachelor of Business Studies in Property Valuation and I have over a decade of commercial property management and accounting experience. From maintaining positive landlord and tenant relationships, advocating and negotiating on their behalf, I learned how to produce great results for my buyers and sellers. Together with my eye for detail, it enables me to create a stress-free campaign for my clients.

For me, the business of selling my home was pretty stressful. I had worked on it for the previous nine years and made it into a very convenient and comfortable home so for me, there was some real grief involved in selling it.
When I walked into the Barfoot & Thompson office and met Andrea, I immediately felt comfortable with her. I had already met up with salespeople who were keen to make me feel pressured so that they could get my business and was repelled by this kind of salesperson. The thing about Andrea is that she is very compassionate and empathetic; she knows this is pretty tough for you and she says "I will be with you all the way" and she really means it. She has the professional skills to do exactly that. She has a background in property valuation and really knows how to help. Whatever question I asked, she had the answers. Some salespeople are too pushy and some are just lazy. They can't answer basic questions about the property they are selling, but Andrea really does her homework .
As well as marketing our home in her very diligent way, she also helped a lot with advice about other homes I was considering buying, such as what they were worth, what were the downsides of this area etc, and she even came with me to support me when I was bidding at an auction for the first time.

I was most impressed with Andrea’s dedication, positive attitude; always having a smile, and how she went the extra mile, time after time for the open homes.
Andrea’s standards are very high and I have not seen any salesperson put as much work and effort in the process of selling a house, in helping us present our house as if it was her own, complete with colouring paper and pencils for the children, soft background music playing from her bluetooth speaker, some nice candles lit; she even wiped the porch if we had not done it to her standard. Simply, she is amazing!
At the start, Andrea wrote an extensive report about the sales expectations, time schedules and during the sales process, kept us informed and produced weekly reports of visitors who viewed our house. She helped us with her expertise where we needed it and treated all visitors and us with respect and kindness.
