Top Salesperson, Warkworth Branch, to end March 2020
While real estate is Brad's job, it is also his true passion. From an early age he was involved in building a property portfolio, and would spend his weekends re-developing properties and on-selling them for good returns. He has a well-honed knack for reading the market, recognising a property's benefits and potential, and understanding clients needs and expectations in the process of buying or selling their home.
Brad takes the responsibility of selling your home personally, and has built a reputation with prior clients of going above and beyond to get the job done. A bit of good old fashioned kiwi can-do attitude and work ethic, along with a pragmatic and customer-focused approach, means he'll do the legwork to make the process as seamless and enjoyable for you as possible, and he takes great pride in helping you to achieve your property goals.
Prior to working in real estate, Brad spent over a decade in engineering and fabrication, and client relationship management, and applies these technical and people skills to good effect in his real estate work. He has a strong customer focus and a reputation for delivering quality outputs with exceptional attention to detail. Brad is also known to be a skilled negotiator, and can think outside the box to consider all possible angles to a situation or problem to find the best solution. If you are thinking of buying, selling or simply want some friendly advice, Brad would love to hear from you.
After working in a multi-national sales environment for numerous corporate organisations and subsequently buying ans selling a number of properties over that time, we've met many salespeople, but not one left us with a lasting impression as Brad has. We made the decision to move back to New Zealand in 2016 and let's just say we picked the right agent on the ground to help us find the right house to call home! You made the whole experience stress-free for us in a difficult period of transition. Your knowledge of the area, professionalism, communication and enthusiastic approach to help have made for a very pleasant experience. Keep up the great work, you're a true asset to Barfoot & Thompson. We look forward to working with you in the future.Rebecca & Graham
Brad and Nikki of Barfoot & Thompson, Warkworth Branch had helped me sell my house in Warkworth at the most desperate time of my life. They were very understanding, helpful and compromising in many ways. They did not only help me to sell my house but went all out to help me find another place that is more affordable. I would recommend them to any of my friends anytime, anywhere. And I would definitely appoint them again to sell my next house.Corinna, Warkworth
I think you would be hard pressed to find real estate agents who truly go 'above and beyond' in the way Nikki and Brad did when helping me sell my long-term home in Auckland recently. Through their invaluable help and advice in preparing my property for market, excellent marketing and dedication all the way through the campaign, and their focus on getting the absolute best result for me I was thrilled to receive a pre-auction offer significantly above my expectations and further bidding on the advance auction for an outstanding sale price. I have no hesitation in recommending Nikki & Brad - you'll be in genuine, safe and caring hands.Sharleen Sym
We have recently sold our Warkworth home using the excellent services of Nikki and Brad Mathews from Barfoot and Thompson and would highly recommend them. Their professionalism and helpfulness cannot be questioned and on multiple occasions they have gone beyond what could be reasonably expected in order to accommodate our needs. In what is a fluctuating current market they never let us down, maximising the property appeal either with cost efficient suggestions or personally undertaking the work themselves. Always respectful of the wishes of all parties they certainly are aware of where their priorities lie making the hard calls with honesty and transparency.
Nikki and Brad could not be described as "run of the mill" agents they could certainly be described as exceptional.
