I love the day to day challenge of real estate. When property changes hands, I feel a great sense of reward knowing that I played a part in the outcome. I understand that every client has different needs and priorities and very possibly have their minds set on a specific outcome. It’s my job to provide a service that is tailored to you to meet your needs and achieve your property goals.
Working for a non-franchised privately owned real estate company such as Barfoot & Thompson has many advantages. Their model allows any of the company’s 1,500+ salespeople to introduce buyers and share information on any property that is listed. This increases the reach of property campaigns and creates a scale of competition which is great for my clients.
I began my nursing career when I was 20 and was very aware of the responsibility that came with the role. Caring for a diverse range of people with very different needs, I learned how to remain calm under pressure, and how to communicate and negotiate effectively. After completing a Bachelor of Nursing, I worked in Australia for a year and upon returning to Auckland, I worked at Auckland City Hospital.
Ponsonby is a bustling hub of stylish boutiques, independent bookshops and a foodie scene ranging from gourmet taco trucks and burger stands to trendy cafes and gastro pubs. I think you could say that Ponsonby is one of Auckland’s hippest strips!
In my spare time, if I’m outside I love running, boxing, surfing, fishing and tramping and my more relaxing pastimes are reading and playing the piano. I used to be active in Surf Lifesaving in Gisborne and I still take part in Land Search & Rescue exercises with the team.
Buying and selling a home can be highly stressful. It is my desire to remove the stress without losing the efficiency of the process.
I love my job and I want to help you enjoy your experience in real estate. Call or email me at Barfoot & Thompson Ponsonby. We could relax over a coffee and I’ll find out what you’re looking for!
