When we took the step to put our unit on the market, we visited selected estate agencies. We were struck with the competence displayed by the Ellerslie office of Barfoot & Thompson, and it quickly became clear that Dave understood the market and actively sought to ensure we fully understood the issues and options available. We also were impressed by Barfoot & Thompson's team work and culture.
Dave is sincere and pursues open communication. He kept us well informed of the steps that should be or were being taken and communicated the outcome of marketing and open home initiatives. During the sale process, he added two open home sessions, given available timing. He looked after the unit for us, as we were living off-site, such as bringing the rubbish bin off the road. Dave kept us updated with the outcome of each open home and selected site visit, he also ensured that we met all Government regulatory requirements, such as the money laundering and body corporate related information needs.
He took us to the auction, saving travel and CBD parking costs for us, and in doing so helped us manage the stress of the auction process. That was appreciated. In all we were extremely pleased with Dave's support and the way he managed the process. We had full confidence in his abilities, as exemplified by the success he created.
Dave always went the extra mile to look after me and my company, providing excellent service, proactively suggesting alternatives that made sense, and ensuring we got the best value possible at all times.
