About Evan Davies

My career so far has been dedicated to customer service with over 29 years’ experience as a sales and marketing professional.

To ensure my clients get the best possible results I have partnered with Barfoot & Thompson, leaders in the real estate industry here in Auckland. I collaborate with an experienced group of professionals, who combined, have over 50 years’ experience. We are a team that has navigated many challenges in the past and we can help you navigate them now.

Prior to real estate, as sales director for a computer software company, I successfully managed major accounts in my former homeland of South Africa. My service was valued by partners and clients such as the South African Police Service and Barclays Bank. Clients who work with me today to market their homes, benefit from this experience.

In 2018, my wife and I together with our energetic nine-year-old son and two much-loved dogs, emigrated to beautiful Aotearoa. We’ve recently moved to Northpark. We love its central location and being surrounded by so many friendly people who also call it home.

Out of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, camping, being at the beach and watching movies. I am a member of the Dream team at my church and endeavour to make everyone's time there enjoyable and fruitful. Keeping fit is important to me. I compete in triathlons, and will be one of the many people taking part in the 2022 Auckland Marathon, helping to raise funds for Starship. You’ll find my fund raising page on the Auckland Marathon 2022 website – I would appreciate your support for this great cause.

I also enjoy playing golf with friends, but this is at a social level as the luxury of time to put in the required practice to be competitive is in short supply right now.
