We first met Harman after popping in to one of his open homes nearby. You might not know that he stayed in touch with us for two years before we decided to list. A follow up phone call, an email to enquire about our plans, Christmas greetings. Never pushy, just helpful. In fact from day one, he felt like a friend looking out for our interests.

We always knew we were going to sell but 'when' was up in the air due to personal circumstances such as visas, work, moving plans etc. We were 'wooed' by many other agents and agencies. What Harman provided was the most impressive of all - accurate information about changing market conditions and recent sales and his honest opinion. He is the only agent we stayed in touch with over this long 'maturing' period.

If a client decides from their first meeting with an agent at someone else's open home that they will list with him you can tell he is a straight shooter - direct, honest, down-to-earth, well-informed and knowledgeable, competent, confident. When he said there was a spike in the market from his observations of recent auctions and if we were thinking of selling now might be a good time, we trusted him completely, acted immediately and rambled-and-scrambled to get to Barfoot & Thompson's last auction of the year in two weeks.

I was a nervous seller, especially given the quick decisions involved in a whirlwind two week campaign, first time selling by auction etc. but Harman calmly went over everything like a seasoned pro and clarified doubts - twice if necessary! I appreciated the way Harman wove the going overseas 'story', his copywriting and his presentation skills. He pitched the campaign perfectly to the intended audience - reflected in the numerous bidders at the auction. The last (bigger) houses to sell recently on this street/area, were in the $640,000 range and Harman/Barfoot & Thompson got us $808,000 for a two bed house.

I cannot praise Harman enough. He worked ceaselessly and very hard to ensure such a great result in such a short time. He is definitely a credit to the Barfoot & Thompson brand. It was a pleasure meeting and working with you all during this campaign.
