With so much media coverage of the housing market and the knowledge that demand for housing in Auckland is fast moving and highly Competitive, entering into the market was a daunting prospect for us. We met with a number of agents from various agencies, but still felt unsure of the process and did not feel confident to sell or buy at auction. We became despondent and held off doing anything for quite a few months.
We met with John after he was recommended to us, and are so glad that we did. From the very first meeting he took us under his wing and proceeded to give us the benefit of his wealth of knowledge in the housing market. He took a significant amount of time explaining the auction process, and the other approaches to buying and selling property. He also took us to the Thursday morning Barfoot and Thompson auctions to show us first hand, and give us a level of comfort on what to expect.
John has stuck with us on every step of our journey, we didn't know what we could afford, where we should look, what we should offer in a pre-auction process. He guided us through all of these obstacles.

During our sale process, it was John who spotted that our code of compliance Certificate for our permitted and signed off deck build had not been processed. He stepped in immediately, visited council, organised another final inspection, and then even went back to Submit the paperwork on our behalf. My mother Alannah and I met John Glover late in 2009. My father had died and we were just starting to put our noses out in the market to look for a smaller property for my mother.
