People taking a journey in real estate whether it is buying or selling, have a common goal of bettering their lives. For me it is a real privilege to be a part of their journey.
I have a Diploma in Hospitality Management , and prior to real estate, I was a professional chef for five years and I worked in various management roles, all of them customer-focused. Very quickly, I learned the value of putting my customers’ interests first and providing a service that met all their needs.
I’ve lived and worked in Auckland, also known as Tamaki Makaurau, for the past 12 years. For a big city, it has everything. Beautiful weather, warm hospitable people from all walks of life, and in 30 minutes you could be at a beautiful beach or on an island in the gulf. My knowledge of the South Auckland suburbs is good. The multicultural population gives the area a very cosmopolitan feel and the thriving culture, often seen at the Saturday markets at Mangere, Otara and Manurewa, make it a fascinating area for families.
Barfoot & Thompson, still a family-owned company, is very much an integral part of the local community where we do business. Their sponsoring of events, supporting various sports teams or helping community organisations, helps make Auckland a great place to work and live. The company’s values of People, Family, Diversity and Community create a very supportive working environment.
In my spare time I enjoy playing cricket, watching home building series and spending time with family and friends.
I am a good listener, an effective communicator and have an innate ability to understand the needs of my clients. I know how to clarify processes helping to make real estate transactions easy to follow and understand.
I speak Punjabi and Hindi and if there is one thing I believe in, it is pushing myself to work harder for the benefit of my clients.
Call or email me at Barfoot & Thompson Mangere or maybe drop in to our brand new office. I’m a member of a great team who are excited to be working in Mangere!
