I recently joined Barfoot & Thompson Titirangi branch as a salesperson and have lived in Titirangi for over 13 years. I have over 20 years of sales experience working in residential, project marketing, property management, commercial leasing and sales for multi-national and private companies. My residential career began in Sydney where I became a well-known and successful licensee. I relocated back to Auckland in 2005 and worked in commercial real estate for 10 years including five years with Barfoot & Thompson City Commercial and more recently here at Barfoot & Thompson Titirangi.
Yes, I'm part of the Workman family, who are well-known in the real estate industry out west. Many of my family members have worked for Barfoot & Thompson over the past 50 years. I think you could definitely say that I'm a local - Titirangi was where I purchased my first house for around $200,000. Even way back then I saw the potential in the area and loved the village vibe and community values and I now serve on a couple of local committees.
I have been involved in several sales of high profile properties in Auckland, including the old Mt Eden Council and Fire Station and 181 Hobson Street in the CBD, which the Mandarin Times occupied.
I am Chair of the Titirangi Community House Management Committee and I am pleased to be a part of such a fantastic team. Our goal is to make Titirangi Community House a safe environment available for various group interests within our community.
I am proud to be a member of Auckland's leading real estate company, a family-owned business that sells around one in every three Auckland properties. Their unrivalled local branch network supports 1,500 plus active salespeople across the wider Auckland and Northland area, and Barfoot & Thompson fits with my personal values which revolve around family and community.
Buying and selling can often be very stressful. I have a wealth of experience and expertise to offer you. Whilst I miss my old clients, I am totally committed and focused on building and nurturing new long-term relationships, with the only aim being a positive outcome.
You are welcome to call me to discuss your property goals.
Jan actually LISTENED to what we were after, and went out and found it for us. She was efficient, energetic and didn't waste our time showing us premises that were unsuitable.
