I am proud and excited to be the manager at Barfoot & Thompson Mangawhai. I have been in the real estate industry for more than 30 years and from day one, two things were clear to me.  Putting people first together with top customer service was the path to achieving the best results.

Mangawhai, also known as Mangawhai Heads, is nestled between the Pacific coast and rolling farmland and is an area of huge growth and opportunity. You’re offered a choice of seaside experiences – a surf beach on one side and safe harbour beaches on the other.

Prior to real estate, I completed a B.Sc., at Massey University, Palmerston North.  I spent several years at Dominion Breweries. I began my time there as a trainee brewer and then worked my way into management.

However, behind the scenes, I’d always had a fascination with real estate. I started my career in my father’s real estate company. It was his mentoring and training that led the way to my decades in the business.

Playing an active role and giving back to our community is part of my experienced team’s daily life. We enjoy supporting Mangawhai Activity Zone, Mangawhai Golf Club and Te Whai Community Trust amongst other local organisations, charities and fundraisers.
