About Nicky Van Wijk

I have many years of experience in sales and management in the automotive industry, selling premium brands such as Mercedes Benz to light commercial, Ford and Honda.  I’m ambitious, not afraid of a challenge, and I understand the buying and selling process.  Add to that my good negotiating skills, and I’m ready to meet your needs.

With my South African upbringing, I have a great appreciation for life and feel most privileged to call New Zealand home. Life is wonderful!  I’ve lived on the Hibiscus Coast for the past 12 years with my family and I’m looking forward to enjoying many more.

What my clients say

To all prospective vendors or purchasers, I would like to document my experiences with Barfoot & Thompson real estate with regard to the sale of my home in December 2020. In particular my impressions of one of their salespeople, Nicky van Wijk. Although Nicky was not the listing salesperson, I was contacted by her the same day the photos of the property were taken asking if she could bring a prospective client around the following morning.

This viewing was completed and the same afternoon, Nicky again contacted me asking if her clients could revisit the property in about one hour. I again had contact from Nicky in the early evening asking if she could visit as she had an offer to present. This offer was presented and accepted.

Nicky then organised a time for the purchasers builder to do an inspection of the property asking if I could be in attendance to answer any questions he may have.

Throughout the short sales process Nicky constantly impressed me by her proactiveness, professionalism and her work ethic, keeping me informed at each step of the sales process.

If you are looking for a proactive professional real estate salesperson to sell your home, I would definitely recommend Nicky van Wijk as a great person to start with.

Unfortunately the COVID 19 Lockdown prevented us from doing that.
