Working in the real estate industry has so many positives. As a salesperson, I help people make life-changing decisions and with a constant thirst for knowledge and eagerness to improve, I get to solve all sorts of mysteries.
Barfoot & Thompson, a family-owned business, has established a culture in which each employee feels a sense of belonging and empowerment. As a company, their strength comes from their people who support each other every day, thus satisfying their clients with honesty and transparency.
After 10 years in the business, I’ve learned that you have to be tenacious and resilient and at the same time, have some fun! I like my clients to enjoy the buying or selling process. Helping people to enjoy the journey makes what can sometimes be a very stressful situation, somehow more positive.
I am a double major graduate, gaining a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture and a Bachelor of Software Technology from Lincoln University. I use my architectural and IT skills every day in real estate. Being tech-savvy, helps market your property in so many ways.
What can I say about the North Shore! Wherever you are, you can drive to a beach in five minutes, enjoy a picnic at a beautiful nature reserve and access to great viewing spots of the ocean are within easy reach. At the end of the working day, sometimes you want nothing more to escape the hustle and bustle. If that’s you, then the Shore will have just what you’re looking for.

From the first meeting through to the auction and after sale details, Suzy, Lou and Nick looked after us with professionalism and warmth!
In the proposal meeting they presented the likely market value of the house, the marketing strategy and costs, and advice on presenting the house for best effect. They justified these with confidence and transparency, and gave us the feeling we were in good hands.
Their diverse backgrounds meant they were able to relate to a wide variety of buyers, and as the open homes and agent visits progressed they kept us informed of feedback from potential buyers.
In the pre auction meeting they outlined how they thought the auction would go, and on the day it went very much the way they predicted, which took away all the stress.
Overall they provided excellent service with a human touch, and we achieved a great result.
Thanks Suzy, Lou and Nick, you're a great team!
