About Pip Wells
I successfully worked in lifestyle and rural property sales, prior to having a five year break.
I made the decision to return when my husband and I looked at selling our own lifestyle property, and found that the majority of sales professionals in the area were residential property professionals. Marketing and selling lifestyle and rural properties needs someone that not only knows the area well, but also has an understanding of its unique market. It is more than four bedrooms and a garage.
I carefully chose which company I was going to market and sell my clients property with, using two previous companies as a benchmark. I wanted a company with excellent marketing skills, training, and back-up resources that enable my clients and me to make the best decisions possible. Barfoot & Thompson in my opinion were by far the front-runners.
I have a particular interest in lifestyle blocks as my husband and I have lived on our own lifestyle block for 32 years, being involved in everything from bees, goats, cows to horses, gardens and ponds.
The Franklin community is an easy one in which to be involved. Gardening, crafts, woodturning, and bee-keeping clubs, and a great selection of sports available from football, hockey, netball, pony club, surfing and fishing, to name just a few.
I have a Business Studies Diploma, and prior to real estate I was involved in training & quality management, for two large companies, and consulted to the then, Franklin District Council. I also had a home- based children's clothing business.
My greatest achievement in life would have to be making the move from the UK to live in New Zealand in 1986, and establishing our own family here in Waiuku.
If I am fortunate enough to be chosen to market your property, I want to assure you that I do not take the responsibility lightly. I aim to exceed expectations where ever I can!
