When it comes to real estate, I would say my special talents are outstanding customer service, relationship management and my selling ability. These are just some of the skills that contribute to a positive outcome for my clients. Whether you are buying or selling a home, the decisions you make are crucial to your future. The joy I see on my clients faces after completing a successful purchase is positively heartwarming. Similarly, if I sell my client’s home for a value beyond their expectations, I know I’ve done my job well.
Barfoot & Thompson is at the forefront of technology-led solutions, demonstrated in their strong commitment to developing, enhancing and investing in new cutting-edge tools for their staff. I have a Bachelor of Science, and I completed a Small Business Management Course and also a NZ Certificate of Financial Services. My varied career includes seven years in real estate and six in the banking industry. I also ran a retail business for a short while and also filled the role of Financial Adviser. I’m returning to real estate with many skills I’ve gained along the way. I’m a good listener, excellent at communicating and I aim to overdeliver!
I’ve lived in Howick and the Flat Bush area and over a period of about 18 years, have witnessed the well-planned development and growth in this part of Auckland. It’s amazing to think that the mini-townships of Dannemora, Flat Bush, Takanini and Papakura once used to be green paddocks! The modernisation of Papatoetoe, Mangere and Manurewa into active growth centres, has truly broadened the scope for families looking for homes.
Outside of work I’m a bit of handyman around the house. I love swimming and scuba diving. My wife and adorable, thoroughly pampered 'rascal lion of a dog’ usually accompany me on the many beautiful walking trails out this way. As a family we like to support the Sathya Sai Baba Trust, a charity that provides financial aid to schools in India so they can give free education to underprivileged children.
When I first arrived in New Zealand, I found the process of buying a home quite confusing and daunting. I made it my mission to anticipate the needs of my clients, simplify the process and hold their hands until the desired outcome is achieved. In addition to English, I speak Hindi and I understand Punjabi and Pahari. Give me a call or email me at Barfoot & Thompson Otahuhu. I’ll help you enjoy the process, whether you’re buying or selling!
