Building great relationships with tenants and owners is a win-win for everyone and it’s what I strive for every day. I have a talent for matching the right tenants with the right property, and thanks to my finely honed problem-solving skills and open direct communication style, I usually find it easy to keep everyone happy.
In a role where I meet people every day, I feel confident working for Barfoot & Thompson, a well-respected company with a reputation for supporting its community – be it sponsoring events, backing sports teams or helping community organisations.
Here at Barfoot & Thompson Waiuku, we too are proud to support and provide sponsorship for local community groups such as Bowling clubs, schools, the Coastguard Waiuku and the Hamilton Estate Community Garden, to name just a few.
I grew up on a dairy farm in Otaua, on the outskirts of Waiuku and after completing a Bachelor of Education, for six enjoyable years teaching in schools in the Franklin area. Working and living in the Franklin/Waiuku area you really appreciate the great outdoors. Stunning rural landscapes and the wild and beautiful black sand beach of Karioitahi is just 8kms away.
With three children, a husband and a cat, family life is busy when I’m not working. On the weekends, we like to support the local cafes and restaurants and explore the beautiful coastline and the many great walking tracks in the Franklin area.
It is my goal to be the Property Manager of choice in the wider Waiuku area. When you call into Barfoot & Thompson Waiuku, you’ll find me friendly and approachable and ready to help!
Suzann, our Property Manager in Waiuku, is very friendly and approachable. She is easy to deal with and for this reason I would use Barfoot & Thompson again.N Hargis
Suzann was wonderful to deal with at a very emotional time for our family. Always doing what she could to help us transition back into rental life.Sheryn & Callum Slavin
I always find Suzann to be very friendly and always helpful when I ring her or call into the office to discuss any issues with my rental properties. An example of where she goes above-and-beyond the normal duties, is when she dealt with contractors who were working at the property between tenants. She had no problem going there and letting them in both in business hours and after hours. She also organised some of the contractors for me, got quotes and went and installed smoke alarms before the tenants moved in, which saved me a lot of time.M Smith
Suzann has been amazing. Handles people (tenants and landlords with kindness, respect but firm when needed) really nicely. Inspections are done on time and accounts are always done on time.Rose & James
Suzann & Sonia, WOW! WOW! WOW!
Words cannot express the gratitude we have for you both, for not just being an absolutely wonderful Property Manager (Suzann) and exceptionally professional real estate salesperson (Sonia), but that you both went beyond anything and everything we expected.
The professionalism, care, service personal touch, and unbelievable service you rendered is something Michelle and I will treasure for the rest of our lives. Nothing happens to us in half-measures and the water leak coupled with the complicated Covid-19 Lockdowns was stressful for us with the impending settlement date. It never rains but it pours, literally. Your efforts and reassurance, and calm demeanor was a real blessing when we felt helpless being so far away.
I have never trusted estate salespeople after two bad experiences, but hand on heart …. you have both restored my faith in salespeople and in humanity. It speaks volumes of the integrity you both have, and that Barfoot & Thompson have two of the best employees in New Zealand, if not the world.
There is no way we could ever thank you enough or repay our gratitude. If you ever need a testimonial or a reference to any landlord, tenant or seller…..we will sing your praises from the rooftops.
We hope to meet up with you both when we get home in January. We wish you both the best. God bless.Trevor & Michelle Johnson
