Coming from a highly successful business, sales and marketing background in the hospitality industry, I draw upon an extensive skill set combining customer service and property investing knowhow along with a can-do attitude to create a thriving portfolio of real estate sales.
Having lived in Meadowbank and Remuera for most of my life, I apply my local and industry knowledge to accurately read and address the current market situation within the area. Every marketing campaign I formulate is tailored to the individual client and their property – always ensuring that the unique core and essence of the home is revealed in such a way as to capture the full attention of buyers in the marketplace.

Of all the houses we’d previously sold, this was the most special because this was where our kids grew up and where we’d built a lifetime of great memories with family and friends. This was also the home we’d poured so much time and energy into renovating and the garden we’d nurtured for many years. When we first met with Sara-Jayne and Gill, we were impressed with their friendly, easy-going nature, their professionalism, their knowledge of the market and their honesty. It felt an easy decision to go with them. They quickly pulled everything together and provided good recommendations as to how we should present and market our home. We felt really comfortable with their proposal and were pleasantly surprised with the marketing budget recommended.
Once we were on the market, things moved quickly and we soon benefitted from the list of potential buyers they had together with the extensive list of salespeople within their network.
Sara-Jayne and Gill were calm and confident providing fast and informative updates on the interest shown by potential buyers. The constant contact we had with them almost made us feel as if we were their only customers. We also liked that they respected the fact we weren’t interested in any negative feedback from “tyre kickers”.
We believe the potential buyers also received a great service as all requests and enquiries were dealt with quickly and professionally. We felt Sara-Jayne and Gill went above-and-beyond. It was no bother for them to meet potential buyers late at night and call in extra support to enable open homes to remain open way beyond the allocated time. Within a week we had a pre-auction offer which took us to auction within two days.
While we acknowledge we were selling in a “hot” market, we still feel that using the services of Sara-Jayne and Gill meant we achieved far more than we would have with other salespeople who were hounding us to list with them. With their help, we achieved our happy ending, which made the difficult task of leaving the home we all loved, so much easier.

What a Team!! We were very happy to have listed our family home of 25 years with Barfoot & Thompson Remuera's GIll Macdonald and Sara-Jayne Kingston as our salespeople. Only a few days after listing, Auckland went into Covid Level 3 lockdown and as our property was tenanted we were very constrained with arranging viewing times.
