About Sonia Sabharwal
Over the past two years I have learnt that one of the keys to bliss is loving what you do and being passionate about it. For me, property management isn't hard. It isn't something that just pays the bills; it is a vocation that I absolutely love and relish every day. My upbeat attitude and ability to take initiative, ensures tasks are completed and makes me very efficient and easy to work with.
Barfoot & Thompson's knowledge, experience and expertise makes them a great company to work for as leaders in the industry.
My formal qualifications are a Bachelor's degree in Interior Design with a Postgraduate Diploma in Architectural from overseas.
Prior to my role at the Royal Oak branch, I spent two years working in the property management field. Work has always been about more than a to-do list for me.
Auckland is genuinely a melting pot of cultures, where every nationality is celebrated from the Pasifika Festival to the St Patrick's Day parade, Diwali and Chinese New Year. To me, it signifies feeling welcome and at home, when you are thousands of kilometres from family.
I have lived in Royal Oak for four years and people are really nice and the location is very handy. That's the beauty of this suburb.
When I am not working, my world revolves around keeping my family happy and sorted. I support an organisation which is known all around the world and in Auckland, called the Nirankari Mission. They believe in oneness and are always there for donating blood, planting trees and keeping the city clean and green.
I am multilingual speaking English, Hindi and Punjabi and I always looking forward to meeting new people.
