I love to help first home buyers and first-time investors. It’s a great feeling to see how happy they are when they’ve found their first home or when they’ve found their first investment property.
My professional working background, in lots of ways, ties in very well with my real estate career. My study years culminated with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree and also a Graduate Diploma in Business Studies in Personal Financial Planning. Many years of experience in the financial services industry, as a bank manager, a mobile mortgage manager and recently as an independent mortgage and insurance broker, have enabled me to see what is involved from all angles when buying and selling property.
Way back in 1994, when I was a mobile mortgage manager, my bank assigned me to Barfoot & Thompson as their relationship manager. Over the years that followed I’ve made some lifelong friends in the company so when I decided on a new career in real estate, Barfoot & Thompson was a natural choice for me.
I’ve made many contacts in Papatoetoe where I’ve worked since 2012. Chess is my game outside of work. I’m the President of the Papatoetoe Chess Club, and something of which I am quite proud of is earning the lifetime title of Candidate Master with the World Chess Federation. Apart from chess, I have three motorbikes which I ride and tinker around with.
Come and see me at Barfoot & Thompson Papatoetoe, especially if you’re a first home buyer or first-time investor. I speak Taishanese which is a dialect of Cantonese, and of course English as I was born here. I would love to help you to achieve your dreams.
