As she joins the high performing NESHAUSEN.team, Tina Barrell brings her impressive marketing and branding expertise to the business of real estate.
Tina qualified with a Commerce Degree in Economics, then left New Zealand for the UK on her OE where she gained a position with consumer food giant Rank Hovis McDougall and was in charge, at an early age, of new product development.
She worked at Rank Hovis for six years, undertaking product development and building creative marketing campaigns, before she was selected as marketing manager for the dairy sector at Tesco UK. At the time, Tesco was named the retailer of the year. Throughout her time there Tina gained a thorough understanding of consumer behaviour and says it was an immense privilege to work at Tesco when there was much competition for a sought-after role.
While overseas, she met and married her British husband and returned to New Zealand to bring up her three children in St Heliers. Family life occupied her full-time for many years apart from a few contracts in the food industry.
After careful consideration she decided to apply her skills to real estate in The Bays. She liked Barfoot & Thompson’s family focused, community-minded ethos and was drawn to the professional efficiency of the NESHAUSEN.team
Calm and composed with a high level of integrity, Tina has natural empathy and a fine-tuned ability to listen to a brief and read people’s behaviour.
