I came from Sri Lanka to New Zealand in my early twenties and worked in sales, finance and the insurance industry. I dealt with people from many different parts of the world on a daily basis. Working for 10 years in these various industries, gave me the confidence to move to real estate, and I joined the prestigious family-owned business that we all know as Barfoot &Thompson.
