"Firstly - it is so peaceful! Kate Sheppard Avenue is not a busy road anyway, but our house is set back, so even better, and good if you have cats or dogs.
We are in a shared driveway, but with the lovely neighbours surrounding us, it's like our own quiet cul-de-sac, with plenty of space for all.
We love this house because it's so unique. Unusual suits us! Having 2 living areas meant plenty of space for us to display our "Geekiness". So many different rooms let us make each one individual. Plus, the extra level for the master bedroom meant that Mum and Dad had more personal space away from the kids. King and Queen of the castle!
Being so open, there is plenty of space, but in winter the sliding doors mean you can close off the downstairs lounge and stay cozy.
The back garden is really interesting with skinks, stick insects and praying mantis around. A mating pair of Eastern Rosellas turn up every year. So pretty.
We planted some fruit trees last year and the apple, orange and lemon trees are already producing.
