It's an exciting time to be working in the real estate industry where rewards come from initiative, skill and experience. I developed these qualities from my previous career in sales and marketing, advertising, new business development and building brands.
Building a new FMCG (Fast-moving Consumer Goods) brand from scratch and taking it to a $1M turnover in 15 months without commercial finance, is something of which I am particularly proud. I've learned to listen, build rapport, set goals and find solutions to problems, all of which I believe will strengthen my ability to achieve mutual and agreed outcomes for my clients.
Greenhithe and its surrounding suburbs are a great mix of old and new properties with access to schools, university and transport making it a very popular area for families looking for those facilities. I have always had an interest in property – my wife and I are continuously upgrading our family home, with the next project being the renovation of our kitchen.
Playing cricket used to take up a lot of my time in the summer, bowling being my forte, but now, administering the game keeps me engaged with our community as the club president of Takapuna District Cricket Club since 2007.
