Auckland’s rental market continued to heat up through February, with renter demand rising for the third month in a row. Despite the increased activity across Auckland, Northland and Bay of Plenty, rents have remained largely unchanged, pointing to a price-sensitive rental market.
Enquiries: 32,749 – up 6.2% on January.
Rental applications: 4,349 – up 6.7% on January and 27.8% compared to February last year.
Average Auckland weekly rent: $696.92 – less than $1 from the three-month average.
