World’s best – Barfoot & Thompson wins international property management award
Landlords and tenants across New Zealand can take confidence in knowing they are supported by one of the world’s best property management agencies.
Barfoot & Thompson has been named Best International Letting/Rentals Agency at the 2025-2026 International Property Awards in London.
The worldwide win follows a rigorous judging process involving global experts in property, who reviewed a record number of entries in one of the Awards’ most competitive years to date.
Barfoot & Thompson first received five-star ratings and won multiple regional Asia-Pacific titles, before advancing to the international finals to compete against other regional winners.
“The judges assessed how we operate day-to-day, from compliance and governance, through to service and marketing. The coveted accolade was one of three awards presented to the agency’s Managing Director, Peter Thompson, at the gala event in London in January.
The awards for Best International Real Estate Agency Over 20 Offices and Best International Real Estate Agency Marketing completed a trifecta, making real estate history for the first agency to secure three international titles in a single year.
The company was a previous winner of the Best International Letting/Rentals Agency at the 2020 and 2017 awards.
