Real estate agency Barfoot & Thompson has been confirmed as the preferred real estate partner for the new township development Paerata Rise.

30 November 2018

The 300ha site beside Wesley College, south of Auckland will eventually include up to 4,500 homes, as well as a village centre, schools, parks and other community amenities.

Barfoot & Thompson Pukekohe branch manager Nick Bates says Paerata Rise is essentially a new town in the making, and one of the most significant residential developments this region has seen.

“Paerata Rise opens up a whole new location, lifestyle and range of housing options for buyers to consider, and we are very excited about the opportunity to market these homes and be part of creating this community.”

As the Preferred Real Estate Partner, Barfoot & Thompson is the agency recommended by Grafton Downs Limited, the organisation guiding the development of Paerata Rise with support from the Wesley College Trust Board, which owns the land.

Mr Bates says the nomination is an endorsement that Paerata Rise Build Partners, the ten building companies engaged to construct homes in the development, can choose Barfoot & Thompson with confidence when selling their properties.

“We are the established experts in the local market, and have a dedicated team working within the Barfoot & Thompson Pukekohe branch that is well-versed in bringing large scale developments to the market.

“Barfoot & Thompson’s non-franchised branch network also means our clients have access to the strength and reach of more than 70 branches located all over Auckland and Northland, where we expect many new residents will flock from.”

Mr Bates says interested buyers will also benefit from the agency’s detailed knowledge of the development and build options on offer.

Public Open Day at Paerata Rise, Saturday 1 December 11am to 4pm.

The public and interested buyers will get their first chance to visit Paerata Rise this Saturday, 1st December, at a community open day that will include the opportunity to explore the new show homes. The event will begin at 11am with an unveiling ceremony at the new Rise ‘n Shine Café on Jonah Lomu Drive, Paerata Rise. Guests can also enjoy free face painting, a bouncy castle and food from some of the very best food trucks in Auckland.
