Barfoot & Thompson CEO Chris Dobbie has been recognised by Leading Real Estate Companies of the World® with the President’s Service Award, presented earlier this year at the network’s global conference in Las Vegas.
This award is given annually to individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to the global LeadingRE network and to the wider real estate industry.
For Chris, it reflects many years of leadership, generosity and dedication to building strong international connections, and his commitment to the people and relationships at the heart of the network.
In a video message, LeadingRE President Paul Boomsma acknowledged Chris’s significant contribution , saying that he has given so much to the global network and "conveys the importance of high standards and has helped raise the bar for all of us."
As Chris was unable to attend the event in person, Managing Director Peter Thompson accepted on his behalf. Peter later formally presented the award to Chris at the Barfoot & Thompson 2026 Awards.
Speaking at the event, Peter acknowledged the significant contribution Chris has made, alongside his wife Jane, representing Barfoot & Thompson with passion, generosity, and genuine enthusiasm at symposiums, conferences, and conventions around the world.

Chris’s recognition is a proud moment for Barfoot & Thompson and reflects the company’s long-standing commitment to leadership, professionalism and connection within the wider real estate industry.
