Campbell has around 15 years’ experience in real estate, both residential and commercial, and is a talented marketer and highly skilled auctioneer. In November 2013, Campbell moved from his role as Harcourts Regional Manager, to take up the position of Auction Manager here at Barfoot & Thompson.
Born in Australia, Campbell worked in the competitive sales environment of inner Melbourne, where the vast majority of properties for sale, were and still are, sold at auction. He moved across the Tasman in 2004.
A seasoned campaigner, Campbell’s passion for the auction process, proven track record and cutting edge negotiation skills have helped him cement his place in the real estate industry.
Campbell has gained a number of awards during his career including, finalist in the REINZ 2011 National Auctioneer Championships, Bayleys Auctioneer of the Year 2011 and senior finalist in the 2011 and 2012 Barfoot & Thompson invitational auctioneers’ championships.
Tony has amassed an extensive curriculum vitae in real estate experience in only a decade in the industry, being a successful salesperson before moving into auctioneering in both local and national roles.
He also has experience in real estate office management, business development and training. Tony works closely with the salespeople in his area to ensure they are truly providing the best service to their vendors. A sense of humour, honesty and integrity have helped make Tony a well-respected auctioneer amongst his clients, colleagues and peers.
Marian joined Barfoot & Thompson in 1999 as a full-time Auctioneer. Since that time she has earned a reputation for her honest and professional auctioneering skills. Her expansive knowledge of the Auckland region has enabled her to have an auction sale success rate envied by many.
With her natural ability to gain empathy with both buyers and sellers, we are sure you will find her as exciting to work with as we do at Barfoot & Thompson.
Murray Smith is an outstanding auctioneer with almost 30 years of experience in real estate and has handled more than 15,000 property auctions and innumerable auctions for various charities. He is a former National Auctioneering Champion and a finalist in the National Auctioneering Championships on numerous occasions.
An associate of the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand and holder of a Diploma in Business Studies (Real Estate), Murray brings a wealth of property marketing knowledge to his role as an auctioneer and marketing advisor with Barfoot & Thompson.
Murray understands people and instills comfort. He understands the importance of each auction and what impact can it have on the lives of his clients. He tries to exceed the expectation. He also has a great sense of humor and he has the attention of his audience with his wide knowledge of many topics. After his day job, Murray has a passion for cricket, Formula 1 and music and he is a part of a band "Soul Agents" he formed with his fellow real estate colleagues, where he plays guitar and sings.
David has been in the auction industry for over 40 years. He has called over 18,000 auctions for Barfoot & Thompson in the last 16 years, selling billions of dollars of property under the hammer.

David has been a licensed Auctioneer for seven years, during which time he has been involved in property sales across all real estate sectors in Northland. In his role as Northland Auctioneer for Barfoot & Thompson he is committed to getting the best results for clients through the auction process.
David also sells quality horticultural and lifestyle properties throughout Northland and as the only horticultural specialist in the North he has sold many prestigious properties over the past 9 years.
David holds both his Real Estate Agents and Branch Managers License and competed for the first time in the 2009 REINZ National Auctioneering Competitions.
Craig joined the Auctions team in 2013. He became an auctioneer after six years as a successful salesperson with Barfoot & Thompson, working out of the Whangaparaoa branch.
Craig picked up a number of novice auctioneer awards before he became an auctioneer, including the Rising Star award at the REINZ 2013 National Real Estate Auctioneer Championship, and the novice award at Barfoot & Thompson's Auctioneer championships in 2012 and 2013.
In his first senior auctioneering competition, Craig was a Top 4 Finalist at the 2014 Barfoot & Thompson championships, where he enjoyed taking on the three other Australian competitors in the final. Since then, Craig went on to become the Senior Championship Winner in 2016.
Craig's real estate experience, combined with his time as a small business owner, Member of Parliament and airline employee, has given him a wide range of diverse skills, with his people skills being the most important. Craig describes his auctioneering style as one of high enthusiasm and energy.
