My goal in real estate is to help people find a place they can call home. I am a good communicator being a fluent speaker of English and Mandarin. An ability to listen and understand my clients’ needs helps me plan a campaign to achieve their goals.
At home in China, I completed a Bachelor degree of Social Work. After arriving in New Zealand, I completed my Master’s degree at the University of Auckland. Following my graduation, I worked for a local NGO for three years as a registered social worker and gained valuable experience in the mental health area. I learned how to build a good rapport with clients and how to work with clients from different cultural backgrounds.
I then ran a construction business. This gave me the chance to work with residential owners as well as developers. I developed strong marketing strategies and negotiating skills and I learned that cooperation between all parties ultimately achieves the very best result for clients.
Enthusiastic and easy going, a wide range of hobbies sees me playing badminton, golf, dancing, singing and cooking. When I’m not working I like to join different music, food, cultural and sports clubs to meet new people. Keeping an open mind and always learning new things keeps me on my toes.
