January 2017 rental report

Find out how the average rent for different-sized Auckland properties has changed over the past year.

  • Average rent for a 3 bedroom property and gross yield are marginally up on last month, with rent at $528 and yield at 2.94%.
  • One bedroom properties in the Central Suburbs and Franklin/Manukau have increased in average rent by 9%.
  • South Auckland continues to have a higher gross yield, with most suburbs returning well over 3.5%.
