June 2017 rental report

Find out how the average rent for different-sized Auckland properties has changed over the past year.

  • The average weekly rent across the Auckland region has increased $24 in the past year.
  • The largest percentage increase is in one bedroom properties, up 5.8% compared with an increase of 4.7% across all property sizes.
  • Central Auckland shows the greatest percentage increase of 6.1%, an increase of $33 per week.
