Every day in my role as Property Management Assistant at Barfoot & Thompson Mangere, I have the opportunity to connect with new people and build valuable relationships - that’s what I love about working in real estate. The dynamic, fast-paced nature of the industry keeps me engaged and motivated thus helping me to understand the needs of our landlords and tenants and subsequently find the right solutions.

I was attracted to Barfoot & Thompson because of its strong reputation, commitment to innovation, and focus on teamwork. Their emphasis on professional growth and its long-standing presence in New Zealand’s real estate market make it a very motivating place to work.

My first job after graduating from Auckland Girls Grammar, was in hospitality as a waitress and a kitchenhand. It gave me valuable experience in customer service and helped me develop strong communication and teamwork skills. Also, I used to play netball and volleyball in Australia and was part of a representative team. This experience helped me develop discipline and commitment which I apply to everything I do.

Working in Mangere is great for me because it feels like home. Born and raised in South Auckland, I have a deep connection to the community. The energy of the city and its diverse communities make it an exciting place to work and it is rewarding to contribute to its growth while staying connected to my roots and loved ones.

Outside of work, I love giving to my loved ones, whether it’s through time, support, or just making them smile. I enjoy spending quality time with family, sharing laughs and creating lasting memories.
