I am the Senior Portfolio Manager at Barfoot & Thompson Glenfield. It’s a position that benefits from my years of experience in the real estate industry. My being awarded the role acknowledges the crucial part I play in managing our key investor relationships.
My focus is to add value and maximise returns for our clients. As a long-term property investor myself, I understand the importance of putting the landlord first. I see myself as the custodian of your property and also the manager of your investment. Does your current rental manager understand this distinction?
I leverage my natural business acumen to drive rental yields and mitigate investment risks. I am an expert at correctly marketing your property to attract quality tenants in the shortest possible time. Also, I am well-versed in the many compliance challenges faced by landlords today. I make sure that I keep myself abreast of the ever-changing legal requirements.
I graduated from the University of Auckland with a Bachelor of Commerce. This shines through in my professional communication style and attention to detail. Fluent in both English and Chinese, I have a deep cross-cultural understanding which has proven invaluable in both the relationship-building and dispute-resolution aspects of this job.
My approach to business is customer-centric. I have a real passion for helping my clients and friends achieve their dream of building sustainable rental portfolios. I leverage my extensive network of investors, real estate salespeople and connections in the insurance and banking industries.
