The chance to help a family or someone find a place to call home is what brings me to work each day. Also, working for a successful brand such as Barfoot & Thompson, a company that offers quality properties for rent and property managers who are up-to-date with the latest tenancy legislation, gives me confidence when I’m speaking with clients.
Sport has been and still is a big part of my life. I studied Sports Management from 2020 to 2022, I was a member of the Auckland Rugby Academy 2020 to 2021, and also part of the Blues U18’s in 2019. While at St Peter’s College, which is just up the road from our Mt Eden branch, I was a member of the 1st XV from 2017 to 2019, and our team was the NZ Secondary School Champions in 2018 – a memorable game!
I’ve always had an interest in the property/real estate world, wanting to buy my own property one day. I always wanted to give it a go and so far I am enjoying it. I think the reason I am well-suited to the role of Property Manager at Barfoot & Thompson Mt Eden is my ability to connect with people. Whether I’m talking to a landlord or a tenant, listening carefully and paying attention to the detail, gives me a good overall picture of what they’re looking for. I am confident that I can build healthy relationships with my tenants and landlords. I bring a great attitude, confidence and communication when handling properties.
Life outside of work for me at the moment has to be enjoying every minute of my first born. And, as always, there’s sport – at present I’m playing club rugby for North Shore Rugby, where we have just recently won the North Harbour Rugby Club Union Premier competition.
I speak English, Samoan and a little bit of Tongan. Call or email me at Barfoot & Thompson Mt Eden – I’m here to help.
A personal philosophy of mine is “Be kind; you never know the battles others are fighting.”
